"Behind The Scenes" with Host James Earl Jones for Public Television to Feature Equine Therapy
(PRWEB) March 02, 2016 -- In an forthcoming installment of “Behind The Scenes” with award-winning host James Earl Jones (The Sandlot, Star Wars) the program will feature a discussion of the therapeutic discipline of Equine Therapy. When people who are troubled and possibly are unable or unwilling to engage with traditional therapeutic interventions, counselors sometimes resort to this form of therapy, which centers around the relationship between human and animal.
Equine therapy is the practice of employing horses to provide cathartic experiences to promote emotional healing and growth. The horses provide an ideal way to interact when they would otherwise resist treatment. Equine therapists teach their patients lessons on the ways in which horses can learn, respond, and take instructions. The youths are encouraged to take insight from the animals way of adapting to coercion.
The award winning series, “Behind the Scenes” is distributed to Public Television stations nationwide. “Behind the Scenes” is not produced by or affiliated to PBS or APT.
