The study highlights Mogo’s innovative use of DoubleClick by Google’s Cross-Device Measurement solution to drive ticket sales and revenue for the the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Campaign outcomes were so significant that Google sought Mogo Interactive’s results to feature in both a written and video case study.
Cross Device Measurement allows Mogo to tie a marketing message delivered on one device to the purchase of an item on a different device at a later date.
Reaching highly mobile audiences, like mothers with children, can be a challenge. Reaching this audience across different devices can be even more difficult. “Moms with kids are active, they’re on the go,” says Doug Mowbray, CEO of Mogo Interactive. “They do have small moments when they check the news [online] and these are opportunities for us to reach them. In the past, we wouldn’t have been able to tie a decision made in that moment to a purchase at a later stage. Now with DoubleClick’s cross-device metrics we can connect those dots of a marketing message to a ticket purchase on multiple devices.”
“Ringling is one of the highest [conversion] uplifts we have seen in a single campaign,” says Jonathon Hunt, Ad Operations Manager at Mogo Interactive. Using cross-device measurement, Mogo was able to measure a conversion uplift of thirty percent.
