Seventh Sense Consulting Appoints Lisa Akers Executive Vice President of Consulting Solutions
WOODBRIDGE, VA (PRWEB) March 03, 2016 -- Seventh Sense Consulting, which provides acquisition, program management and workforce development solutions to the federal government, announced it has appointed Lisa Akers as their executive vice president of consulting solutions.
Akers, who had a distinguished career of more than 16 years in the federal government and private sector experience in acquisition, program management, and product development, will be responsible for developing and delivering solutions for the company’s clients in government departments and agencies including Federal Trade Commission, Small Business Administration, Departments of Commerce, Treasury and Veterans Affairs as well as Army Corp of Engineers.

Prior to joining Seventh Sense Consulting, Akers served as the president of the products and consulting divisions at ASI Government. In her last 5 years of public service, Akers led the GSA FEDSIM, one of GSA’s interagency acquisition organizations specializing in the acquisition and management of large, complex information technology and professional services solutions for other federal agencies.
Akers earned her M.S. in information technology systems from The George Washington University, her B.S. in microbiology from the Pennsylvania State University and program management professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
