Craft & Hobby Association Announces Dates and Location For Canadian Chapter Designer, Educator and Creative Professional (DECP) Retreat
Elmwood Park, NJ (PRWEB) March 02, 2016 -- The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) and it’s Canada Chapter are pleased to announce that the popular Annual Designer, Educator, Creative Professional (DECP) Retreat will be taking place on May 13-15, 2016 at the Kempenfelt Conference Centre, Barrie in Innisfil, Ontario. This event is open to anyone in or out of Canada interested in further expanding their business education.
The retreat is a three-day professional development getaway featuring business leaders from the creative industry. Each day’s schedule consists of manufacturer-sponsored inspired workshops, business seminars, and networking events designed to strengthen attendees’ creative and business skills. Current workshop sponsors include Coats & Clark, DecoArt, H.A. Kidd and Environmental Technology, Inc.
“The DECP Retreat is a great opportunity to learn from, and network with, industry leaders in a creative setting” said Audrey DeJong, President, CHA Canada Chapter “Attendees will leave inspired with enhanced skills and ideas to take their businesses to next level.”
The registration fee to attend the retreat is $265 US for CHA Members and $365 US for Non-CHA Members. The fee covers all classes and seminars, two nights shared double occupancy hotel stays, meals and an open refreshment station throughout the weekend. Guests may select roommates.
