Sessions to focus on using Fourth Industrial Revolution technology to drive sustainable government reform and country growth

FreeBalance, a leading vendor of Government Resource Planning (GRP) software, announced that the bi-annual Ministers’ Roundtable will take place from March 7-9, 2016 in Managua, Nicaragua. The theme for the 2016 Ministers Roundtable is "national governance". Roundtable sessions will explore how governments can better plan and execute to achieve sustainable economic growth, digital transformation, resilience to economic, social & environmental crisis, social inclusion and improved stability.

The 2016 Minister’ Roundtable is hosted by the Honourable Ivan Acosta Montalván, Minister of Finance, Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, Republic of Nicaragua. "We have an opportunity to embrace and leverage technology to support the growth of our countries," said Minister Acosta. "The roundtable format provides us with an opportunity to share effective practices to support Public Financial Management (PFM) reform and economic development." The event provides provide Ministers with content and ideas for actionable digital initiatives to support government reform and modernization.

The Ministers’ Roundtable draws upon the experience and domain expertise of a select group of Ministers and well-known domain experts. Guest speakers at the 2016 event include Dion Hinchcliffe, Ted Graham, Michael Hearty, Dr. Nagy Hanna, and Miha Pogacnik. "The implication of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to public policy and public financial management is is of critical importance to governments around the world," said Manuel Pietra, President & CEO of FreeBalance.
