Sold Out Event: A Brighter Future for Children Charity Gala, 2016
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 03, 2016 -- The Dream Builders Project will host its third annual A Brighter Future for Children Charity Gala tonight, at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles, California. It is a sold out event with over 450 celebrity, professional, and influential guests attending. 100% of the proceeds from the gala will be donated to the Audrey Hepburn CARES Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Funds will help provide comprehensive medical evaluations, treatment, and psychiatric rehabilitation to children who have been affected by physical, sexual, and psychological abuse and neglect.
Tragically, the Audrey Hepburn CARES Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles admits 500-600 children annually. 66% of children admitted are under the age of five, while 45% are under two. The most common symptoms and injuries that the center treats are results of neglect (32%), physical abuse (26%), and sexual abuse (13%).
For the third year running, The Dream Builders Project’s A Brighter Future for Children Charity Gala is raising funds and awareness for the Audrey Hepburn CARES Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. A cause that is very dear to its heart, The Dream Builders Project is excited to announce that this year’s gala is a sold out event, and will raise more funds for the children than ever before. Guests are incredibly enthusiastic and local brands have been very generous, with over 100 local and national companies donated their goods and services. This year’s celebrity attendees include Ariel Winter, Josh Bowman, Tara Reid, Karina Smirnoff, Julie McNiven, and Kat Graham, with a special Grammy award winning performance by composer and pianist, Omar Akram. Media coverage of the event will be provided by a number of local and national publications and broadcasters.
“We are responsible for others,” says founder, Mayer Dahan. “We do have the power to save lives … if we choose to. We host A Brighter Future for Children to provide a way for people to take responsibility for humanity and its existence.”
