We are thrilled to be able to offer this program to our members. By doing so, we're providing easier access to resources for them to pursue their dreams - Gina Wilson, President of Oklahoma Central Foundation.
Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) March 04, 2016
Oklahoma Central Foundation launches its 2nd Annual Scholarship Program and will double the number of scholarships awarded. Awards will be given in two categories: high school seniors and continuing college students.
Applications are currently being accepted for students enrolling in the Fall 2016 school year. Requirements and application instructions are available at OklahomaCentral.org and the deadline to apply is April 29, 2016.
“Scholarships are such a critical component of the Oklahoma Central Foundation mission due to the fact that for many students, it is what makes a difference between being able to obtain a post-secondary education and not,” said Gina Wilson, President of Oklahoma Central Foundation. “We are thrilled to be able to offer this program to our members. By doing so, we’re providing easier access to resources for them to pursue their dreams.”
Through fundraising efforts, Oklahoma Central Foundation is able to award scholarships ranging from $1,000 - $2,500. Awards will be granted based on the applicant’s essay submission and level of community involvement.
