DrTung’s Unveils Oil Pulling Concentrate with 24 Plants and Botanicals
Kaneohe, Hawaii (PRWEB) March 03, 2016 -- DrTung’s announced the release of its Oil Pulling Concentrate which is the newest addition to its line of holistic, sustainable oral health products. Ancient Ayurvedic texts recommend oil pulling as part of the daily dental health routine. It is said to strengthen teeth and gums, help with mouth dryness, and enhance the oral microbiome overall. Unlike other oil pulling products that contain essential oils to provide flavor, this concentrate is prepared in organic sesame oil using an ancient Ayurvedic recipe of selected plants and botanicals chosen for their treatment qualities. The practice of oil pulling, which involves lightly “chewing on” or swishing oil in the mouth for a period of time, soothes and moisturizes the gums. While mouthwash serves to rid the mouth of all bacteria, oil pulling draws harmful bacteria and spares the good bacteria, leaving a more balanced environment in the mouth. DrTung’s Oil Pulling Concentrate is used in the same manner as other oils in oil pulling. However, it can be used for a shorter time (e.g. 5-15 minutes, versus the standard suggested time of 20 minutes) due to the effectiveness of the herbs used in the formula. These herbs have been recognized for centuries to have a broad range of qualities such as being hemostatic (preventing or stopping bleeding), anti-inflammatory, anti-plaque and astringent (can help tighten gums around loose teeth).
