Jacksonville Business Journal recently recognized Palm Coast-based Coastal Cloud as one of Northeast Florida’s Best Places to Work. The Award recognizes companies in Northeast Florida; private and public companies, government and nonprofits.

“The award is based on feedback from each company’s employees and is a true testimony to the culture and work place that has been created at these businesses,” says Jacksonville Business Journal Editor Timothy Gibbons. Employee surveys were tabulated by Quantum Workplace, a specialist in measuring workplace satisfaction.

The top companies will be honored at an awards program on March 22 and in the Business Journal in a special awards section on March 25.

“We are extremely proud to have been selected as one of Northeast Florida’s 2016 Best Places to Work,” said Tim Hale, Coastal Cloud Managing Partner and co-founder. “Cloud technology is available anywhere there is a broadband connection. Our team members literally 'live at the beach and work in the cloud.' Here in beautiful Flagler County, we enjoy an exceptional, yet affordable quality of life while competing effectively with technology consulting giants based in crowded, expensive urban centers around the country.”

“Our technology consultants are experts in the latest cloud-based technology while serving our nation-wide client base. We encourage team activities and a flexible work schedule that integrates work, wellness, family and community activities.” said Sara Hale, Coastal Cloud Managing Partner and co-founder. “As a result, we attract and retain an exceptional team of consultants with great attitudes and deep skills. We also enjoy a very low attrition rate in a highly competitive industry.”

Coastal Cloud employs a “hub and spoke” model to best serve its customers. Half of its consulting and development team are concentrated in the company’s SaaS (Software as a Service) Solution Center, or "hub", in Northeast Florida. Other team members ("spokes") can be found near Coastal Cloud’s clients, providing a local presence from D.C. to Denver and as far away as Hawaii.

Coastal Cloud ranks first in customer satisfaction among all Salesforce.com partners headquartered in the southeast and first in the number of Salesforce.com certifications earned by its consultants. The company was recently recognized as a Salesforce.com Gold Level Cloud Alliance Partner. Coastal Cloud was also named by GrowFL to its 2015 list of “Florida Companies to Watch.”
