Cornerstone Capital Group Hires Industry Veteran Jennifer Leonard for Research Team
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 04, 2016 -- Cornerstone Capital Inc., a leading financial services firm today named Jennifer Leonard as a Director of Manager Due Diligence, supporting the Cornerstone Capital Investment Advisory business.
Leonard comes to the firm from The CAPROCK Group, where she was Vice President of Impact Investing and co-led the firm’s impact practice. She will be based in New York and report to Craig Metrick.

In a career spanning microfinance, institutional financial services and impact investing, Leonard has developed a unique skill set in working to deploy capital for social and financial returns. At CAPROCK, she helped clients build customized, impact-mandated portfolios. From 2009-13, she was a Latin America equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley following the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. Prior to that, she launched the initial version of a microfinance equity fund at Women’s World Banking. From 2005-07, Leonard served as CFO of SKS Microfinance, one of the largest microfinance institutions in India. She began her business career at Merrill Lynch in equity research focused on the US Wireline Telecom Services sector.
Leonard holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Economics (Magna Cum Laude) from Boston University. She is a CFA charterholder and a former American India Foundation William J. Clinton Fellow.
