New Executive Chef announced for Downtown Denver Hotel
Denver,CO (PRWEB) March 07, 2016 -- Greg Leonard, general manager of Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, announces the appointment of Paul French as Executive Chef.
After graduating from The Culinary Institute and honing his skills in establishments throughout New England, Paul French joined Hyatt as Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency Miami in 2003. He has held culinary positions at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, Hyatt Regency Atlanta and, in 2011, transferred to Hyatt Regency Austin as Executive Chef.
In his new position as Executive Chef of the 1,100 room Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, French will oversee a staff of more than 40 culinary professionals and banquets where as many as 2,500 people can be served simultaneously in over 60,600 square feet of newly refresh meeting and event space. Additionally, he is responsible for menus and all food preparation in the hotel’s Altitude Restaurant, Peaks Lounge, Perks Coffee and More as well as in-room dining.
Executive Chef French replaces Manfred Steuerwald who was promoted to Director of Operations at Grand Hyatt Denver.
