Juggler Charles Peachock and Magician Kostya Kimlat Give Back to Orlando's Youth with Live Entertainment
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) March 08, 2016 -- Two internationally renowned entertainers, Charles Peachock and Kostya Kimlat, will perform a live entertainment show called “Catch the Impossible” on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
The show, which begins at 7 p.m., will feature the juggling talents of Peachock and the magical entertainment of Kimlat. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will fund scholarships for children to attend the Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts.
“Kostya and I look forward to providing a fast-paced and tightly produced theatrical experience that transports the audience to a place of laughter and amazement,” said Peachock, whose juggling expertise landed him on America’s Got Talent a record-breaking six times and into the finals — further than any jugglers has ever gone one the show. He is also the only juggler to have been featured in People magazine.
The two-time gold medalist and world champion juggler is the creator of the initiative behind the show—Performers with a Purpose—which aims to produce high-caliber live entertainment in order to fund worthy causes.
Peachock’s performance will be preceded by Kimlat’s, who will present a show combining his sleight-of-hand magic with theatrical mentalism. Kimlat, who leads the team of magicians for the NBA's Orlando Magic, recently appeared on Penn & Teller’s primetime show, Fool Us, on which magicians have the opportunity to try and fool the infamous magic duo with one trick. Kimlat was one of the few magicians to successfully stump the pair, winning him the opportunity to perform in Penn & Teller's live Las Vegas show. The dramatic video of Kimlat’s TV performance has been viewed on YouTube more than two million times and counting.
Tickets for the one-time performance can be purchased at http://www.drphillipscenter.org. Organizers recommend the show for ages 8 and older.
