With Lead Sponsor Square One Shopping Centre, Art Gallery of Mississauga's 13th Annual Fine Art Auction Offers A Chance To Discover & Bid On 'Mississauga's Next Picasso'
(PRWEB) March 06, 2016 -- The Art Gallery of Mississauga (AGM) Director and Curator Mandy Salter announced today the availability of a limited number of tickets for the AGM's 13th Annual Fine Art Auction to be held at the C Banquets Skyline Ballroom on Thursday April 28th, 2016 at 6:00 PM.
Supported by lead sponsor Square One Shopping Centre and notable members of the Mississauga business community, the AGM's 13th Fine Art Auction will be the highlight event and will feature forty original signed paintings, prints and photographs by established and emerging artists, many of whom are Mississauga residents. A wide variety of styles and works with reserve bids as low as $250.00 will be placed on auction block to ensure that there is something for every taste and every budget.
“Much of the fine art up for auction has been donated by established and emerging local and national talents, with pieces by Pien, Hickox, Wyczolkowski, Lewis Irving, Lynch and Carvalho and others,” explains Salter. “All of them have the potential to become the next big name in international fine art and some are already represented by world-class gallerists, or are owned by influential collectors. I am also very proud to say that a portion of the art donated for our auction is created by Mississauga based artists.”
As well as showcasing the work of top-drawer national and local fine artists during the live auction portion of the evening, the AGM's 13th Annual Fine Art Auction will also feature live entertainment, bespoke silent auction items, complementary drinks and hors d'oeuvres, an after-party with DJ and dancing and a safe ride service for guests. One hundred percent of the profits form the event will go towards supporting the AGM's programming and community engagement activities.

Tickets for the auction are $75 per guest and $600 per table of eight and can be purchased at our gallery reception or through the AGM website artgalleryofmississauga.com. Free catalogues are also available.
A preview of all fine art to be auctioned will be held from Thursday April 21st to Sunday April 24th at our location at the north end of Celebration Square.
