Computer Design & Integration LLC (CDI LLC) announced today two new hires to support the firm’s continued focus on serving customers in the Hybrid Cloud Solution space. Will Huber will join CDI LLC as director of its Advanced Services group, while Ralph Carter takes on the role as chief architect, Network Solutions.
Huber will be responsible for defining, architecting and evangelizing the firm’s next-generation cloud-based consulting services. Additionally, he will further develop and deliver CDI’s new Hybrid Cloud framework offering, which encompasses cloud maturity, IT operations management, business process automation, as well as automation and orchestration. Carter will be the lead for the Network Solutions Architects, with a concentration in SDN, IWAN and strategic accounts.
Huber comes to CDI LLC from EMC where, as principal solutions architect for the Global Cloud Services team, he was responsible for leading delivery teams that provide complex Federation Enterprise Hybrid Cloud (FEHC) engagements around the globe. Huber is one of less than 217 architects globally that holds the VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) credential, and one of just 22 architects globally that holds that credential in the Cloud Management and Automation track.
Carter joins the firm with over 17 years of professional experience, ranging from technical consulting with several Fortune 500 companies, to post-sales professional services manager, to pre-sales senior solutions architect with leading network integrators in N.J. He is a Cisco certified network engineer with advanced TCP/IP networking knowledge and expertise, and has held a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification since 2010.
