BOSTON, MA, March 8, 2016 - FastCAP Systems continues to push the extremes of energy storage, adding a ruggedized, hermetically sealed, all aluminum ultracapacitor to its growing product line. Boasting a 3.0V operation voltage, the EEx3V-450 ultracapacitor has the highest available operating voltage on the market. With a volumetric power density over 80kW/L and the highest volumetric energy density on the market (10Wh/L), this new product offers the highest performance of its kind. The EEx3V-450 is rated for operation from -40°C to 65°C, and can perform over 1,000,000 cycles at room temperature.
