Open Systems Technologies Hires Kevin Seltzer as Chief Financial Officer

Seltzer has more than 20 years of experience in financial and operational management. As CFO of Open Systems, he will be responsible for supporting corporate expansion initiatives and overall strategic planning; driving top line growth, profit and risk management, regulatory compliance, treasury and banking relationships; and providing overall financial stewardship for the company.
Prior to joining Open Systems, Seltzer was a partner at B2B CFO®, where he provided financial leadership for major initiatives to a variety of middle market companies. He was certified by the firm as a business transition expert and provided guidance and transition services to participating companies, with a focus on virtual data room (VDR) development.
Prior to B2B CFO®, Seltzer served in multiple senior finance positions for private equity firms, including AEA Investors LP and The Blackstone Group LP. In these roles, Seltzer drove cost savings initiatives, which yielded ongoing savings in excess of $1 million dollars per annum. He also made process and system enhancements, which led to audit fee savings in excess of 20 percent and contributed to the launch of foreign offices in Asia and Europe.
Seltzer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Long Island University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is a certified public accountant in the state of New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Seltzer also holds a Juris Doctor from New York Law School and sits on The Foundation of Sight and Sound, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with vision and hearing impairments reach their full potential. He resides in Woodbury, N.Y. with his wife and two children.
