As a freshman at Ohio State, Conley Jr., immediately made an impact, leading the team to a Big Ten Conference Championship and a National Title appearance. Shortly thereafter, the All-Big Ten First Team Freshman declared for the 2007 NBA draft and was selected fourth overall to the Memphis Grizzlies.
