Tommy Goodin age 10 continues to wow crowd with his great defensive plays and 64mph off the tee bat speed.

What a great young baseball talent

Tommy Goodin age 10, whose family was recently displaced from their home in Porter Ranch, CA due to a massive natural gas leak in the hills above his school, has now began to establish new baseball roots in Thousand Oaks, CA. Despite the setback Tommy has settled into Sumac Elementary in Agoura Hills, CA. Tommy remains vigilant in his quest for baseball success.

As a member of the LA Xtreme Baseball 11u Elite team he has continued to wow the crowds with both his defensive plays and climbing batting average. After the fantastic grand slam homerun to help the team take home victory in the Save the Brain Tournament in Fontana, CA he has continued to perform well by contributing to his Elite team’s success. LA Xtreme Elite 11u is currently ranked #12 in California by USSSA Baseball in the 11u Majors division. LA Xtreme 11u Elite under the direction of Coach Eric Beckerman have secured a spot in Florida in June 2016 USSSA World Series.

Tommy had an exceptional weekend in Peoria, Arizona playing in the Baseball Youth Magazines Future Games. This is an individual player event where Tommy had a great time competing with kids from all over the country. He participated in his first 12u homerun derby and managed to knock two out of the park. His bat speed off the tee tops the charts at 64mph for his young 10 years. Tommy Goodin of Thousand Oaks, CA looks forward to playing at Thousand Oaks Little League this spring under the coaching direction of Tony Russo. This is Tommy’s first return to Little League Baseball since age 5.

Tommy Goodin is ready to enter middle school next fall with high hopes of continuing to play competitive baseball for a school program. His dedication to baseball practice, conditioning, and his homework provide a great start to this young talents quest for long term baseball success.
