Mark Zipperer of RE/MAX Edge in Chicago’s Lake View Neighborhood Named 2015 Broker/Owner of the Year by RE/MAX Northern Illinois
CHICAGO (PRWEB) March 10, 2016 -- CHICAGO, March 9, 2016 – Mark Zipperer of RE/MAX Edge at 3843 N. Broadway was one of two recipients of the 2015 Broker/Owner of the Year Award presented by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network at its 39th Annual Award Ceremony held here on Feb. 19.
Zipperer founded his Lake View-based RE/MAX brokerage in 2004, and has led it to become an integral part of its community, with a current staff of 19 brokers.
His specialty has been working with his agents to help them achieve their full business potential. Zipperer also has demonstrated a knack for finding talent in unexpected places, recruiting not just experienced brokers but also those outside the industry who have the abilities and desire to thrive in the demanding field of real estate sales.
He also has proven to be an exceptionally deft promoter of the RE/MAX brand, both personally and by encouraging his brokers to follow suit.
At the same time, Zipperer is an active member of his community. Currently, for example, he serves on the 46th Ward Zoning and Development Committee, which advises Ald. James Cappleman on zoning and land-use issues.
This year, he will be moving his office into new space across the street from its long-time location, giving RE/MAX Edge the room it needs to keep growing.
