The leaders of RE/MAX Elite Homes in Moline, Ill., captured two of the top honors at the 39th Annual RE/MAX Northern Illinois Awards Celebration held here on Feb. 19. Rich Bassford, founder of the firm, was honored as Broker/Owner of the Year, while Kim Bassford, his wife, received the Excellence in Technology Award.

After establishing himself as one of the leading real estate sales producers in the Quad Cities market, Rich Bassford founded RE/MAX Elite Homes in 2014. In less than 18 months, he made the office a solid success, attracting a team of 18 brokers and opening a second office across the Mississippi in Iowa. Thanks to that rapid growth, Bassford has positioned his business to be a leader in the Quad Cities market for years to come, and as a result he was one of two recipients of the 2015 Broker/Owner of the Year presented by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network.
