The drastically changing shipping environment will be a key topic at Operations Summit 2016, April 12-14 at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, OH. Platinum sponsor Shorr Packaging will lead a session, “Reaping the Benefits of a Packaging Evaluation,” which will help summit attendees assess their current state, explore areas for improvement and demonstrate how to implement changes and drive efficiency gains.

Shorr will also be hosting a tour of its Sharonville, OH packaging facility on April 14 for Operations Summit attendees. The tour will include a demonstration and examples of the company’s value-added services, including carton right sizing, DIM weight analysis, STAMP evaluations and packaging SOPs for multi-location customers to enforce consistency across all distribution centers.

The Operations Summit features six tracks and a series of educational sessions covering all aspects of direct-to-customer and ecommerce operations and fulfillment. Attendees will come away with practical solutions to address pain points, helping them improve their retail, ecommerce and omnichannel operations. More than 800 attendees will be there to learn about the latest trends, strategies and best practices.
