Sport Court® to Transform Spokane Convention Center into Sprawling Basketball Venue Hosting 500 Games in Three Days
Spokane, WA (PRWEB) March 10, 2016 -- The Northwest Middle School Basketball Association has chosen Sport Court to provide all playing surfaces for the 3rd Annual Washington State Middle School Basketball Championships at the Spokane Convention Center that begin tomorrow at 5 p.m. and continue through March 13.
The tournament will feature 12 Sport Court Maple Select™ and Dark Maple™ modular courts that will transform the Spokane Convention Center into a massive basketball venue featuring safe, high-performance playing surfaces for 5th to 8th grade boys and girls on 244 teams ((137 boys and 107 girls) ) throughout Washington who will play more than 500 games at one site to crown 24 boys and girls division champions.
“All of our research on using portable courts for our Northwest Middle School Basketball Association events led directly to Connor Sport Court International who is the leader in this type of modular flooring,” said Bill Reinking President, Northwest Middle School Basketball Association.
In addition to the 12 Sport Court game competition surfaces for the tournament at the Spokane Convention Center, Sport Court will also have a 34’ x 54’ special event court that will host shooting contests during the tournament with trophies awarded for the winners of each event by grade and provide added fun for both players and attendees.
