In 2015 Optimal Health Straw Chiropractic focused it’s charitable efforts on giving back to Service Members in need, totaling over $17k in donations to vets.

It is an honor that Optimal Health was able to be of service and we look forward to providing continued support.

Optimal Health Straw Chiropractic has given back to their community in many different ways in the past, including sponsoring a local senior citizens prom. This past year they decided to focus their efforts on giving back to a very deserving group of people: injured veterans.

Optimal Health not only pledged to be an annual contributor to the Wounded Warrior Project but also provided neuropathy treatment for a select group of veterans in desperate need of the care. In total they contributed over $17,000 towards these projects in 2015.

Optimal Health aided special veterans who were in need of treatment for their nerve damage and provided care to reduce their symptoms and provide improved mobility. These patients had symptoms ranging from severe burning, sharp shooting pain to numbness and ‘pins and needles’ like feelings. The veterans in the program were given access to all the treatments, at home devices, one on one coaching and materials that Optimal Health provides their patients.

In addition to providing the needed health care Optimal Health also contributed to the Wounded Warriors Project. The Wounded Warrior Project provides injured veterans with medical, emotional, and mental care they need to adjust after being wounded while in service.

Dr. Phil Straw D.C. had this to say about focusing on giving back to veterans in 2015, “Veterans have given so much to this country and fought for the life we all enjoy. It was important for us to be able to give back to a group of people so deserving of our support. It is an honor that Optimal Health was able to be of service and we look forward to providing continued support.”

Optimal Health Straw Chiropractic is looking forward to its new charitable endeavors for 2016 and will continue to contribute to the Wounded Warrior Project annually.
