Fast-Growing Team of Distinguished Miami Lawyers Will Occupy Entire, Smartly-Designed Floor of 600 Brickell Avenue

“We’re thrilled to be settling in to our new office, which reflects Miami’s unique style and energy,” commented Lewis, who also serves as Managing Shareholder of the Miami office.

Greenspoon Marder’s fast-growing Miami office has moved into new offices, taking over the entire 36th floor of 600 Brickell Avenue, also known as the Brickell World Plaza Building, a state-of-the-art office building in Miami’s Downtown neighborhood and Financial District.

The Greenspoon Marder Miami office currently comprises 17 lawyers and professionals and 25 staff, including members of the firm’s Alcohol Beverage Group, which is led by shareholders Robert Lewis, Louis Terminello and Marbet Lewis. The office is also home to the firm’s Criminal Defense Practice, led by shareholder David Kubiliun, the sophisticated real estate practice of shareholder Manny Crespo, who joined the firm in December of last year, and the firm’s newly-established Entertainment Law Group, led by shareholder Leslie Zigel, who joined the firm this month.

“We’re thrilled to be settling in to our new office, which reflects Miami’s unique style and energy,” commented Lewis, who also serves as Managing Shareholder of the Miami office. “Our lawyers and staff will now enjoy beautiful, thoroughly-modern space with large common areas and hospitality features that were designed to promote teamwork amongst practice groups and offer added conveniences to our clients,” he added.

“When we decided to establish a Miami office, it was always our vision to build a sophisticated, multi-faceted practice, staffed with leading local lawyers, offering a mix of capabilities relevant to the needs of the most sophisticated clients in the Miami and broader South Florida market,” said Gerald Greenspoon, Co-Managing Director of Greenspoon Marder. “Having the right space is an essential part of building a cohesive and successful practice – this new office will take us to the next phase in the development of our Miami presence,” he continued.

Matt Forget, RA, of Anderson Architecture in Boca Raton designed the office which is based on the central concepts of high design and open space and aimed at encouraging informal collaboration through such features as standing-height work spaces located in central common areas. The design also takes advantage of the floor’s dramatic eastern and southern views and natural light, with the extensive use of natural colors and materials to further reflect Miami’s style and environment. There are also energy-efficient features such as internal office lights that automatically dim when enough natural light is present and efforts were made to reduce the environmental impact of the construction with the reuse of salvaged materials from the previous buildout. The space, which covers nearly 18,000 square feet, features 29 offices, many with stunning city and ocean views, and five glass-enclosed conference rooms that form part of an impressive lobby.
