We've taken the concepts and functionality we introduced in the original FPS Member Simulator and enhanced them for unprecedented levels of automation, performance, and availability.

Ascert has long been associated with the testing of the UK Faster Payments System (FPS) network, from its creation in 2007 through initial Member testing of the Central Infrastructure, through to member pre-certification. While the original FPS Member Simulator has provided exceptional and reliable testing to the FPS community, Ascert has enhanced its service, with the release of the new FPS driver for VersaTest Simulator.
"Backed by the established pre-certification tests and running within the VersaTest Automation Server environment, this will greatly improve the speed and accuracy of testing for organizations." says Simon Miles, Ascert's Product Architect for the VersaTest product line. "We've taken the concepts and functionality we introduced in the original FPS Member Simulator and enhanced them for unprecedented levels of automation, performance, and availability."
The VersaTest Simulator for FPS is an optional upgrade for existing users of Ascert's FPS Member Simulator. It simplifies and expands the functionality and performance of the packaged self-certification scripts for additional functional and non-functional testing.
The VersaTest Simulator for FPS is also available as a “cloud” based solution hosted on the Ascertified.com website. This means organizations can now utilize VersaTest’s advanced features, allowing automated test execution and validation, to exercise their Faster Payments implementations with zero testing tool infrastructure and overhead. This secure cloud-based service enables a test environment to be rapidly deployed and to be available and supported 24X7. It represents the latest of several strategic steps Ascert is taking to solidify its position as the pre-eminent supplier of FPS testing tools.
