St Pancras International leads the way to Big Data
(PRWEB) March 16, 2016 -- St Pancras International, the 21st century's first mega-station
The history of St Pancras is closely linked to innovation and new technologies. Inaugurated for the second time in 2007, it has called on the greatest designers and architects for its renovation. They redesigned the traditional station's role and showed their ambition : making St Pancras International the first Mega-Station of the 21st century. The station is now an integrated space in the city where international travelers, commuters and visitors meet.
An Internet infrastructure at the forefront of innovation
In June 2014, High Speed 1, St Pancras Station's owner announces, through its partnership with WiFi Metropolis : "The installation in station of Great Britain's most efficient free WiFi and the creation of the most innovative Internet infrastructure ever devoted to a public place." A service that also represents a tremendous opportunity, which is to better understand and anticipate the needs of passengers. How? Thanks to a Big Data solution...
A Big Data technology made in France
