NAPA AUTO PARTS this week announced it raised more than $2.109 million through its annual “Get Back and Give Back” campaign for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF), a not-for-profit organization and national leader supporting the men and women of the United States Armed Forces and their families. NAPA AUTO PARTS President Dan Askey presented a check to Arnold Fisher, Honorary Chairman of the IFHF, and Dave Winters, President of the IFHF, at the NAPA AUTO PARTS Spring Leadership Meeting on February 24, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV.

“We are only able to do the work that we do with the help of the American public and generous supporters like NAPA AUTO PARTS,” said Winters. “This donation helps to ensure that the men and women who are injured while defending our nation will have access to the best care available to help them recover from their injuries and return to their lives.”

“It is an honor to support the men and women of our armed forces who have so bravely served our country,” said Dan Askey, President, NAPA AUTO PARTS. “NAPA takes pride in our large military family, including employees and customers, and we are honored to once again support the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. We hope to raise awareness for traumatic brain injury and psychological health conditions and enable the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund to provide care for the thousands of military families affected across the country.”

The “Get Back and Give Back” campaign began in 2012 and gives NAPA AUTO PARTS customers the opportunity to contribute to the IFHF by purchasing t-shirts and accessory items at participating NAPA AUTO PARTS stores or online at Additionally, customers who purchase $25 or more at NAPA AUTO PARTS stores receive free NAPA/IFHF caps, with NAPA donating $1 to the IFHF for each cap given away.

Furthermore, NAPA AUTO PARTS and NAPA AutoCare Centers offer mail-in rebates of up to $25 for every battery, alternator, and starter purchased in July, with the option of donating all or a portion of those rebates to the IFHF. NAPA AUTO PARTS donates $1 to the IFHF for each redeemed rebate and $2 for qualifying installations at NAPA AutoCare centers and preferred installers.

One hundred percent of the donation goes to the IFHF’s mission of building nine Intrepid Spirit centers around the country that diagnose and treat Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and psychological health conditions in U.S. service members. Currently, Intrepid Spirit Centers are operational at Fort Belvoir, VA; Camp Lejeune, NC; Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Bragg, NC; and Fort Hood, TX. Each Intrepid Spirit center costs approximately $11 million to construct and equip with the latest in brain technology and treatment facilities and spans 25,000 square feet.

About the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a national leader in supporting the men and women of the United States Armed Forces and their families, has provided close to $200 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. In 2010 the Fund opened the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) to support the research, diagnosis, and treatment of military personnel and veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and psychological health (PH) conditions. In 2013 the Fund launched a new $100 million campaign to build nine “Intrepid Spirit” centers at major military bases around the country. These centers serve as satellites to the central NICoE facility and extend that care to more service members suffering TBI, PH conditions and related afflictions. Four Intrepid Spirit centers are already open and two more are under construction.
