HealthPostures to Attend the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council Professional Development Expo
Prior Lake MN (PRWEB) March 29, 2016 -- Workplace mobility firm, HealthPostures, announces that it will attend the April 13-15, 2016 Iowa-Illinois Safety Council Professional Development Conference and Expo. Location of the expo is the Cedar Rapids, Iowa Convention Complex. Devoted to the safety and physical well being of workers, HealthPostures will showcase its sit to stand equipment, including the adjustable TaskMate Go, ergonomic sit/stand chairs and the TaskMate assisted lift series equipment.
Unlike other ergonomics sit/stand desks, HealthPostures' sit/stand solutions can be attached atop the same desk that workers use to complete their work while sitting, eliminating the need for additional office furniture. The designs that will be on display at the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council Professional Development Expo are adjustable, functional. Hiring managers can assign the desks to newly hired workers or consultants in the event of worker attrition; associated gains include monetary and space savings.
As noted in Huffington Post, functionality is key to designing an efficient workspace. Regarding functionality, an office, "must be appropriately functional to be effective." This applies whether professionals work from home or at a large complex. Except for a few of its accessories, each of HealthPostures' ergonomics chairs and desks is capable of being adjusted manually or electrically, offering greater functionality and safety.
Keynote speakers at the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council Professional Development Expo include David Sarkus, founder of David Sarkus international; Andy Core, a wellness author and speaker; Kina Repp, a safety speaker who experienced a life threatening accident while at work. More than two dozen additional local and national speakers will also present at the Expo.
On-site training is also scheduled at the three-day expo. Among the agenda topics are machine safeguarding, building safety commitment, behavior based safety and fall prevention. Information about HealthPostures' is included in the expo's vendor mall, an area where expo attendees can get more information about exhibitors.
Consultation and a facility walk-through are also available. Honorees will receive one of three Safety Council awards, which are the Community Enrichment Award, the Hazard Control Enrichment Award and the President's Award. A HealthPostures' representative will be on-site to answer questions that expo attendees have about the design, adjustability and functionality of their ergonomics solutions, particularly their TaskMate products. The event offers attendees who stop by the HealthPostures' booth a rare opportunity to explore and experience the safety equipment firsthand.
