This Spring brings the arrival of a hilarious comedy to the big screen featuring a dynamic duo that are definitely no strangers to the spotlight. Singer, writer, & actor Marques Houston co-starring alongside model, & actress Karrueche Tran, bring us this most anticipated arrival of a much needed comedic masterpiece. Marques Houston starring as Travis Stanley (whose last name is actually Stankershet), plays a young attorney seeking to gain new status, & position at a prestigious law firm. The catch here is that he's secretly dating his boss' daughter that he is also hoping to make his lawfully wedded wife. With an interesting turn of events Karrueche Tran, co-starring as Travis' loving girlfriend Courtney Clancy, organizes a surprise weekend get together with her family. Unfortunately for Travis, his plans go completely array, increasingly more so with the arrival of his "ghetto", & not so classy family, the Stankershets.
The two lovers find themselves in the middle of a hilariously written family war that ultimately threatens to destroy the very foundation of their relationship. The film plays on a clash of cultures, with the far East meeting the American deep South! The film cleverly tugs at the heartstrings, as Travis tries his hardest to find a way to get Courtney's traditional Korean family to somehow peacefully co-exist with his own backwards country relatives, so that he can finally pop the question!.
