The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) has elected Peloton’s Philip Peck to the FP&A Executive Advisory Council
Boston, MA (PRWEB) March 15, 2016 -- Peloton, a leading consulting firm focused on driving business transformation with Business Analytics, Enterprise Performance Management, and Cloud Solutions, today announced that the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) has elected Philip Peck to the FP&A Executive Advisory Council.
The Advisory Council will feature finance executives from the US, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The role of the Council is to act as a sounding board and idea incubator to help drive the AFP content agenda in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) domain. The Council will explore current areas of interest, point out emerging trends and topics, and provide feedback on initiatives such as the upcoming FP&A Benchmarking Survey. The goal is to ensure a comprehensive and global view of key FP&A issues, opportunities, and critical focus areas.
“I am pleased that AFP has created this FP&A Council for executive-level FP&A and Finance professionals and honored to be asked to join the group,” said Philip Peck, Vice President of Advisory Services at Peloton. “FP&A and Finance executives must provide strong business partnering capabilities, robust analysis and deep insights, and executive leadership to improve and enhance organizational decision-making capabilities. The Council will help AFP members and community by offering insights from their peers and networking opportunities.”
“I am very pleased that Peloton has joined our FP&A Advisory Council,” said Nilly Essaides, Director of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Practice at AFP. “The council will play an invaluable role in shaping our educational and editorial agenda. We believe FP&A and Finance executives must provide strong leadership and smart business analysis and partnering. Peloton and Philip have been an active member and visionary in the industry and a strong partner in our AFP Finance Roundtable series. Philip has also been a frequent contributor to the AFP FP&A Guide Series and has presented at numerous AFP Webinars on key FP&A topics."
The Council will have the opportunity to discuss, shape, and inform leading practices and perspectives on critical issues such as:
• Demonstrating the value of the FP&A and Finance functions
• Talent management
• Driver-based modeling and planning
• FP&A and analytics
• Rolling forecasts, dynamic planning, and continuous resource allocation
• Data visualization and visual analytics
