Beverage 364 Announces the Launch of Sidra Del Verano in Texas and Kansas
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) March 17, 2016 -- Beverage 364 announced today the launch of Familia Soroa Sidra Del Verano, a refreshing Hard Cider from the Basque region of Spain. The official launch date for Sidra Del Verano is April 1, 2016.
The Soroa Family has been making Cider in the Basque region of Spain since 1918. For an easier drinking style, Familia Soroa uses only culinary apples rather than bitter sweet cider apples – a subtle blend of Golden Show, Fuji and Pink Lady varieties. “With nearly five generations of experience and the use of culinary apples, we believe Sidra Del Verano will give consumers a premium option in Cider,” said Robert Farquharson, Managing Partner - Retail Development for Beverage 364. “While the Cider category has experienced some softness over the past year, the premium segment has been growing as legal drinking age consumers are seeking a more flavorful drinking experience.”
The Texas launch will focus on Dallas / Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and East Texas. Beverage 364 has appointed Artisanal Beverage Distributors (Dallas / Ft. Worth, Houston, San Antonio), Capitol Wright Distributing (Austin) and Giglio Distributing Co. (East Texas) as the distributors of Sidra Del Verano. For the state of Kansas, Beverage 364 has appointed Standard Beverage Corp. as the brands distributor. “We’re looking forward to working with our distributors to build Sidra Del Verano in each market,” said Rich Waite, Managing Partner - Distributor Development for Beverage 364. “The initial launch will be with our Spanish Apple and Apple Pear flavors.
