Chisholm Trail Arts Council's 2nd Annual ArtWalk Now Seeking Artists to be Part of their Festival in Duncan, The Heart of the Chisholm Trail
Duncan, OK (PRWEB) March 23, 2016 -- Chisholm Trail Arts Council(CTAC), through the generous support of local businesses and community volunteers, is pleased to announce their 2nd Annual CTAC ArtWalk Duncan (AWD). AWD is an annual fine arts and music festival that will be held on Founder's Day, Saturday, June 25th 2016 from 10:30am to 11:00pm in Fuqua Park.
AWD seeks to provide a cultural experience to the citizens of Duncan and the surrounding areas by promoting artists displaying in a variety of mediums. The event will feature the works from fine artists, performing artists, and local entertainment. CTAC invites local artists, as well as artists from surrounding cities, to be a part of AWD. Artists will have individual booths set up with art on display and items for sale.
Children can experience “Art in Action” in our Kids Korner and take home a small art project as well as watch artists work on projects at their booths during festival hours. Live local entertainment will be scheduled through out the event and will wrap up with CTAC's final LIVE concert of the season featuring Kaitlin Butts.
With the support of Duncan Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the partnerships with Founder’s Day 5K/ 1 Mile Run, Stephens County Historical Museum and the Chisholm Trail Amateur Radio Club, CTAC is proud to boast the eclectic mix of events going on throughout Duncan that art patrons are sure to want to check out as well.
Please join us June 25th for a great day to enjoy Art in Action in Fuqua Park! Artists’ booth will be open 10:30am-5:00pm. Be sure to bring your chairs and enjoy live entertainment throughout the day with a FREE Concert in the Park featuring Kaitlin Butts at 7:30pm.
