SLCC Fashion Institute Debuts 8th Annual Senior Collections

Designs by SLCC students will be mix of glamour and natural aesthetic.

Salt Lake Community College Fashion Institute’s annual show of designs by senior students will be March 30, 7 p.m. at The Fallout, 625 South 600 West, Salt Lake City. This year’s show #Fiore blends Salt Lake City’s emerging urban fashion scene with the beauty of Utah’s natural landscape in a night of luxurious runway shows.

This season’s elite designers have woven together the world of glamour and natural aesthetic to create powerful collections. Seniors Anna Bryce, Bailey Francom, Betthy Salgoda, Charlie Fratto, Jiselle, Kate Nielsen, Dianne De Vil, Maegan Boyer, M. Cheung, Nassi Doudman, Trung Qtham and Wahid Migoli have been taught for the past two semesters by SLCC collection production class instructor Janet Buhler. Performances presented by trainees with Ballet West and SLCC Dance Co., with music spun by DJ Shii.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the runway collections following at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $25 and $15 for students who present an ID.
