Stratford School Names Head of School for Milpitas Campus
Saratoga, Calif (PRWEB) March 17, 2016 -- Stratford School, an award-winning independent preschool through 8th grade private school founded in Silicon Valley, is excited to announce Philip Dolan as the Head of School for the new Milpitas campus opening in Fall 2016.
Dolan brings more than 20 years of educational experience to Stratford School. Dolan’s areas of expertise include teaching, advancing staff through positive leadership, and school administration.
According to Dolan, Stratford’s education model stands out. “What attracted me to Stratford is its commitment to a safe and secure, quality-learning environment that inspires all students to meet their full potential. As educators, it is our collective goal to provide a sense of community for our students, and a place where the youth of today can be formed into knowledgeable, socially responsible citizens of the future. To lead a brand new Stratford School is an amazing and exciting opportunity to have.”
Before Stratford, Dolan held leadership positions at other private schools in the Silicon Valley and the United Kingdom as the School President, School Principal and Middle School Teacher. His vast background of experience in and outside the classroom is what makes Dolan a perfect fit for Stratford School.
“We are so pleased to welcome Phil Dolan to the Stratford School family. We share a commitment to connecting students to their unique futures. As our new Head of School, Phil shares our vision, and will be instrumental in creating and supporting our growing community in Milpitas,” said Sherry Adams, Stratford School Founder.
Dolan will join community representatives, key partners, and school leaders at an upcoming ground breaking ceremony to be held at Stratford’s new campus, 341 Great Mall Parkway, Milpitas, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
