Illumiseen YouTube Video Showcasing Anti-Blister Technique Goes Viral and Reaches Milestone 50 Million Views
Beaverton, Oregon (PRWEB) March 22, 2016 -- Illumiseen, a manufacturer of LED safety accessories for runners, cyclists, walkers and even canine companions, has proven it can not only produce viable quality products but can also provide useful everyday tips for its customers. Recently, an Illumiseen YouTube video featuring instructional insight on how to prevent running shoe blisters with a “heel” or “lace lock,” has gone viral, reaching a milestone 50 million views – worldwide. With many of its customers being avid joggers, Illumiseen created the video to explain the benefits of tying shoelaces in a way that prevents blisters, sighting the often-overlooked extra shoelace hole in running shoes and what they’re actually for.
“Once the video was published, it immediately went viral in Japan,” explains Illumiseen’s James Conway. “From there, it found its way to Reddit, leading to it going viral around the world and receiving 50 million views – not bad for a video that basically explains how to tie one’s shoes properly to avoid blisters when exercising.”
According to Illumiseen representative Conway, joggers and other exercise aficionados can prevent blisters with what’s known as a “heel” or “lace lock” which creates extra friction between the laces near the ankle. This keeps the ankle and heel area “nice and tight” without having to tighten the whole shoe, and also helps to prevent black toenails by keeping the heel and toes from smashing into the front of the shoe.
The Illumiseen video goes into detail regarding how to tie such a “heel” or “lace lock,” pointing out the extra shoelace hole at the top of many running and hiking shoes and the way they can be used to create loops on the inside and outside of the shoe. Once these loops on both sides of the shoe are created, the laces are to be crossed and inserted into the loop on the opposite side, followed by clinching the laces down. The final step involves pulling the end of the laces down to create an actual “lock” before lacing the shoe in a balanced shoelace knot.
“Illumiseen sells innovative LED-based products geared towards delivering safety and value to discerning clients near and far, but we’re still committed to offering life-improving tips, industry insight and anything we feel our customers should know,” adds Conway. “That’s precisely why we’re so proud of this recent milestone concerning our YouTube video and its anti-blister subject matter. Our mission is to save lives, but if we can give something back to our treasured clients in the form of expert opinion or tips, that’s all the better.”
Illumiseen began selling its innovative products online in September 2015 primarily through Amazon US and Amazon Europe, in addition to select portals such as TouchOfModern.com. The company currently offers five primary products including the LED Belt, LED Dog Collar, LED Dog Leash, Silicone LED Dog Necklace/Collar and LED Headlamp. All of the products are designed to increase the visibility of the user – evidenced in the Illumiseen company name – whether that user is a human jogger, biker, horse rider or child, or a four-legged canine companion that needs to be more visible in the dark.
