Historic Ships in Key West, Florida Offers Glimpse of Timeless Vessels - This Weekend
Key West, FL (PRWEB) March 26, 2016 -- Travelers visiting Key West, Florida, this weekend are in for a huge bonus treat. Historic Ships in Key West is a unique, pop-up event that brings together three historic Tall Ships in one location and offers visitors the chance to step aboard and tour these awe-inspiring vessels.
“We’re extremely excited to have the opportunity to show off these three beautiful ships,” stated Craig Samborski, executive producer of the festival. “Lucky for us, the timing was right and talking three Tall Ship crews into spending more time in sunny Key West isn’t exactly tough,” joked Samborski.
Not only is this pop-up event unique in the world of Tall Ships, but it also offers visitors the chance to step on a few vessels that are drastically different from one another. On one hand, you have the very large, almost Pirates-of-the-Caribbean-esque El Galeon, and on the other, the sleek Schooner Hindu, as well as the 40-ton class cutter Bloodhound.
