Cornerstone Opens Washington DC Office, Adds Strategic Policy Expert
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 18, 2016 -- Cornerstone Capital Group, a leading financial services firm, has named Dr. Robert D. Lamb as Director of Strategic Policy Research, and will open a new office in Washington, DC, effective March 21st.

Dr. Lamb is a strategist, policy adviser, public speaker and collaborator with a twenty-year record of studying the hidden knowledge that affects strategic-level success in organizations and societies, from social dynamics in war zones to intangible factors in business relationships.

With more than 50 publication credits and more than 100 speaking engagements in the past five years, Dr. Lamb is nearing the end of his visiting research professorship at the Strategic Studies Institute of the U.S. Army War College, where he has worked to improve U.S. and international policy in fragile and conflict environments. A former business and finance journalist, Dr. Lamb is also a nonresident scholar at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where he once directed the conflict program, and at the Center for International and Security Studies at the University of Maryland, where he earned a PhD in policy studies from the School of Public Policy in an interdisciplinary program combining economics, security, and ethics.
In his consulting work, Lamb has focused on strategic positioning, stakeholder relations, analysis of intangibles and policy effectiveness. His consultancy, RD Lamb LLC, is partnered with the International Peace and Security Institute (IPSI) for impact feasibility analysis (using Lamb’s Imp-Act™ method), and is partnered with Ethelo Decisions, a company offering group wisdom technology, for collective decision making and stakeholder engagement.
Cornerstone’s new office will be located at 740 15th Street N.W., Washington DC, (aka the historic Union Trust Co. building) that is also home to the New America Foundation, a public policy institution.
The company’s main corporate and administrative offices remain in New York, with additional members of its investment advisory and consulting groups based in Denver and São Paolo, Brazil.
