RBMA Announces 2016 Quest Award Winners

The Radiology Business Management Association’s annual peer-judged Quest Awards honor excellence in radiology practice marketing campaigns.

The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) congratulates the nine winners of its eleventh annual Quest Awards for excellence in radiology practice marketing across a variety of platforms. The Quest Awards are among the most prestigious in radiology marketing because a panel of radiology and marketing peers selects them based on creativity, effectiveness, innovation, performance and success.

Judging of all categories took place in person at the RBMA Building Better Radiology Marketing Programs seminar held in Las Vegas from March 6 – 8, 2016. New this year were categories based on marketing budget. This change reflects broader changes in health care marketing and brand communication that allow greater use of small budget (under $5,000) campaigns that leverage new technology for maximum impact.

“Marketing is an innovative and rapidly evolving field,” explained Daphne Gawronski, director of communications and development for the RBMA. “The Quest Awards exist both to recognize excellent work by RBMA members and to offer all RBMA members an opportunity to see great ideas that may help them improve their own marketing efforts.”

The volunteer judges selected one winner in the above $5,000 campaigns and one winner in the below $5,000 campaigns for each of four categories. All 2016 Building Better Radiology Marketing Programs seminar attendees voted to determine the winner of the People’s Choice Award, which encompasses both big and small budget campaigns.

The 2016 winners are as follows:

Patient Marketing

  •     Budgets under $5,000 - Radiology Ltd.
  •     Budgets over $5,000 - Radiology Associates of South Florida and Miami Vascular Specialists

Physician Marketing

  •     Budgets under $5,000 - Radiology Ltd.
  •     Budgets over $5,000 - Radiology Associates, LLP

Cause Related Marketing

  •     Budgets under $5,000 - Jefferson Radiology
  •     Budgets over $5,000 - Charlotte Radiology

Digital Marketing

  •     Budgets under $5,000 - Jefferson Radiology
  •     Budgets over $5,000 - Wake Radiology

The People's Choice Award

  •     Charlotte Radiology

Next year’s Quest Awards competition will take place March 7, 2017 at Building Better Radiology Marketing Programs, at the The Worthington Renaissance in Fort Worth Hotel. Details on how to enter will be announced this fall.
