BSB Communications Selects Ingate Systems to Encrypt SIP Trunks
STOCKHOLM and STERLING HEIGHTS, MI (PRWEB) March 21, 2016 -- BSB Communications, a reseller specializing in virtualized solutions, has selected Ingate® Systems to enable and encrypt SIP trunks for a high security deployment with an insurance company in the US.
The installation, which replaced the customer’s phone system with cloud-based SIP trunking, also generated a cost-savings of $5,000 per month.
BSB Communications is using Ingate SIParator® Enterprise Session Border Controllers (E-SBCs) to enable SIP trunking between the carrier’s cloud-based SIP trunking service and their customer’s IP-PBX. The Ingate SIParator normalizes SIP signalling, making secure SIP trunking possible between any SIP trunking service and any IP-PBX. The SIParator also encrypts the SIP traffic, a necessity for businesses with a high need for confidentiality such as those needing to meet stringent HIPAA privacy requirements.
