Building Engines Names New Head of Research

This new position will help Building Engines clients realize even greater value from the company’s software platform through enhanced benchmarking and analysis of operational and tenant sentiment data.

Prior to his appointment at Building Engines, Mobley served as vice president at Kingsley Associates, best known as a provider of tenant satisfaction surveys. While there, he led hundreds of client engagements and several industry-wide benchmarking initiatives, in the process becoming one of CRE’s leading voices on tenant satisfaction and engagement. More recently, he founded Koine Communications, a research and content strategy firm serving the industry. In this capacity he has investigated and reported on such salient topics as staffing efficiency, adaptive re-use and the rapidly changing workplace. His latest white paper, “Decoding Densification,” was released in January as the culmination of his work with a BOMA International task force studying the shrinking ratio of square footage to workers at office buildings. Mobley’s career also includes a benchmark advisory role at Deloitte Consulting and market research analysis at a Fortune 100 consumer products company.
