New APCPLAY playground equipment has found its home at the Atlanta Primary School, in Atlanta, Texas. The newly updated playground will not only serve the school, but the Head Start Program's Atlanta location, as well.

Head Start is a Community Services of Northeast Texas, Inc. program that serves children in nine different cities across North Texas. The Atlanta division provides comprehensive care to about sixty children to prepare for Kindergarten. The young students learn the foundations for reading, counting, and social skills. Head Start's services go beyond education, though. Annual physicals and Family Partnership Agreements geared toward the child's success are just a few of the other benefits the program provides.

Another developmental benefit the program has to offer for these kids is their recently updated playground. Community Services of Northeast Texas, Inc. purchased a new London Bridge playground structure from APCPLAY to add to preexisting equipment at the Atlanta Primary School. The London Bridge is suitable for all ages, which makes it ideal to serve the Head Start program, as well as the rest of the students in the primary school. It features two parallel Wavy Slides, one Chute Slide, and a large storybook Arch Bridge in the middle. Activities include a Store Front Panel and a Post Mounted Steering Wheel to encourage imaginative play and social development.

The professional installation crew also installed a custom shade structure from APCPLAY, added new borders and rubber mulch to the playground area, and relocated some of the existing equipment at the playground. The project coordinator for CNST, Inc. expressed her continued satisfaction with APCPLAY's services upon the completion of the installation. This is the second site update APCPLAY has completed for the non-profit organization.
