Eagle Roofing Products, the industry’s leader in concrete roof tile manufacturing and innovation, is proud to announce their participation in the City of Scottsdale Green Building Lecture Series.

Tyler Allwood, Director of Technical Services and Systems for Eagle Roofing Products, will be leading a discussion titled “Beyond Reflectivity: The Future of Energy Efficient Roofing” on April 7, 2016. Allwood will discuss the history of energy efficient roofing products and the eventual move towards using reflectivity as the measure of a roofing product's energy efficiency. After establishing a solid understanding of the existing world of energy efficient roofing products, he will introduce the concept of thermal insulative roofing products and assemblies. This will include a discussion about new and innovative products on the market.

Allwood said in a statement, “I am honored to be included in this talented group of individuals discussing such important topics for the building industry and society as a whole. For years our industry has striven to increase the energy efficiency of concrete roof tiles through reflectivity. Our innovations change the conversation about energy efficiency forever and I cannot wait to share them with this group.”
