Past Publisher of Vanity Fair and Group President of Condé Nast Joins Civilized Board of Directors
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 25, 2016 -- Civilized Worldwide Inc., a fast-growing digital publishing company that elevates cannabis culture, is pleased to announce that Mr. Mitchell B. Fox has joined its Board of Directors.
Mr. Fox is a past publisher of Vanity Fair and Details Magazine along with more than a dozen other media properties, and was named Condé Nast’s Publisher of the Year in 1997. He later served as president and CEO of The Golf Digest Companies, overseeing all media and business properties under the Golf Digest umbrella, including Golf Digest, Golf World, and Golf for Women among others. Mr. Fox then led 8020 Media Company, a San Francisco-based online media company and more recently formed WGA Global Marketing Inc., a holding company with interests in insurance, media development, cross border e-commerce, and investments in cannabis related businesses. He is also an advisory board member of New York financial and strategic advisory firm, Viridian Capital Advisors – which works exclusively with emerging businesses in the cannabis industry.
