Quantum Technologies Wins Approval From Government of India
Princeton, New Jersey (PRWEB) March 25, 2016 -- Quantum Technologies, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, has won approval from the Foreign Investment Promotion Board of India to design, manufacture and sell simulators (flight, small arms, tanks, trains) for military and civilian markets in India.
"The use of simulators for training and readiness purposes in the Indian military has increased dramatically during the past decade," according to Pallam Raju, the former Federal Minister of State for Defense in India. "The use of simulators in the Indian armed forces has expanded to virtual solutions that are structured to provide individual and group flight, driving, weapons and sensor training.
"In addition, Quantum can now deliver state of the art training solutions to the medical, transportation, commercial and education markets," explains Allen Shisler, COO of Quantum.
With its newly approved license, Quantum Simulators (a subsidiary of Quantum Technologies) will be able to utilize $20 million or more from multinational corporations that have already sold products to India's Defense Ministry as a means to address their Offset Obligations to the government of India by way of investing in local companies. The license also permits Quantum to sell finished products to the Indian defense market until a local manufacturing plant for simulators is built.
"Within the next two to three years, Quantum Technologies will sell over $100 million worth of simulators to India, which will generate a significant profit," claims Shisler. "The simulator market in India exceeds $1 billion a year. Given our expertise and background, Quantum is in the enviable position of now delivering the most innovative training and advanced simulators to the aviation, military and industrial markets in India."
Quantum expects to build its own simulator production, manufacturing and training facility in Gujarat, India within the next two years.Contact: Allen Shisler 405-210-1257 / allen(At)quantumtechno.com or visit http://www.quantumtechno.com
