The Jenkins Organization has acquired 7 self storage properties- 5 in Houston and 2 in Minneapolis, totaling over 640,000 square feet and at a cost of $44 million.

The Jenkins Organization has acquired 7 self storage properties, 5 in Houston and 2 in Minneapolis. The properties total over 640,000 square feet and were purchased at a cost of $44 million. Ricky Jenkins, President of The Jenkins Organization, states “All 7 properties are well located, in high growth areas with excellent demographics. Houston continues to be a good market for us, despite the energy downturn. Same store sales are up over the same period last year.”

“We have been very active acquiring properties in Texas over the past 5 years,” said Minh Tran, Director of Acquisitions for The Jenkins Organization. “Moving forward we will be very aggressive expanding our footprint outside of the state.” Tran listed the specific locations:
