PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s fastest growing accounting and consulting firms, was named a “Champion of Good Works” by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ). The Firm was recognized for its sizeable charitable contributions in 2015.

“Giving back is vital for us at PKF O’Connor Davies – it’s an important part of who we are and the values we all share at the Firm”, said Brian M. Flynn, New Jersey Managing Partner. “We feel it’s our responsibility to have a positive and impactful role in the communities where we live and work. We want to thank CIANJ for giving us the opportunity to work with them, and the many other organizations recognized for their efforts, to give to those who need it the most.”

PKF O’Connor Davies was honored along with 32 other companies at a gala reception at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack, New Jersey, on March 10, 2016. More than 90 organizations submitted stories of their good works to be considered for the award. The beneficiaries of the Firm’s contributions include Wounded Warriors, Casting for Recovery, Walk to Defeat ALS, Make a Wish, Habitat for Humanity, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, St. Jude’s Hospital, Guyon Rescue, Brain Injury Awareness, the Migraine Research Foundation and Operation Smile. Selection of these recipient organizations was determined by employee nominations.

"The public at large is often unaware of the magnitude and scope of the good works companies do,” said Martin Kafafian, chairman of the CIANJ board of directors. “This reception is our way of shining a spotlight on ‘Companies that Care.’”
