(http://www.PogoTec.com ) announced today that David Milne, the managing partner of SV Life Sciences (SVLS), has joined the Board of Directors of PogoTec™. PogoTec™ is a leading developer and enabler of electronic wearable devices (EWDs) and mobile wireless power transfer. The company has developed and plans to commercialize 3 proprietary technology platforms in 2017; Pogo-Power™ (a proprietary mobile wireless power system for EWDs), Pogo-Track™ (a proprietary means for attaching EWDs to eyewear while maintaining the fashion look of such eyewear) and Pogo-Cam™ (the world’s smallest look and shoot camera that can be attached and detached to eyewear at will).

Dave joined SV Life Sciences Advisors (http://www.SVLSA.com) in 2005 where he is presently a Managing Partner. He has 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, having worked at several leading public and private medical technology companies. He has particular expertise in the area of medical devices, from product development and commercialization, to mergers and acquisitions. Prior to SVLSA, Dave has held numerous executive positions in Business Development and Marketing at Boston Scientific in both U.S. and European operations.
In addition, Dave has worked at Scimed Life Systems, Becton Dickinson, and Parker Laboratories. He serves on multiple boards including the non-profit Friends of the Children and has previously worked as an advisor to two technology incubators as well as an advisor to the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University.
Dave holds an MBA in Marketing/Finance from New York University and a BS in Biology from Rutgers University.
