La Concha Key West Celebrates its 90th Birthday

La Concha Key West will be centering its 90th anniversary celebrations around a couple of its infamous guests. Two of its finest suites have been renamed the Ernest Hemingway Suite and Tennessee Williams Suite. The two legend suites present aesthetic traits of La Concha’s original 1930’s design and readings from the respective author. In addition, La Concha Key West will be announcing a series of commemorative events and special offers throughout the year themed after its anniversary and historical significance within the celebrated island destination.
As another acknowledgment of its legendary status, La Concha Key West was inducted this year into the Historic Hotels of America, an official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation that recognizes and celebrates the country’s historic hotels that have faithfully maintained their authenticity, sense of place and architectural integrity.
