Association of Learning Providers Announces 2016 Awards Recipients

Three business leaders, a bestselling author and award-winning management thought leader, and one training firm were among the honorees this year at ISA-The Association of Learning Providers’ Annual Business Retreat in Scottsdale, AZ. The awards recognized the recipients’ leadership and contributions to ISA and to the learning industry at large.

“This year’s award winners reflect the strength, breadth and depth of knowledge and passion for the business of learning that exists within ISA’s membership,” says Jeff Hayes, President and CEO of CPP, Inc., and Chair of the Awards Committee. “Our committee was inspired by their enthusiastic engagement and dedication to lifelong learning. They’re truly role models who ‘walk the talk’ of what they teach.”

Selected by the Awards Committee based on an evaluation of category-specific criteria, the 2016 ISA Award winners are:

  • PowerSpeaking: ISA’s 2016 Business of the Year
  • Dr. John P. Kotter, Kotter International, best-selling author of “Our Iceberg is Melting,” “Leading Change” and numerous others: The Thought Leader Award
  • Tony Jace, CEO, Crisis Prevention Institute: The Broomfield Award – The Spirit of ISA
  • Jeb Brooks, President & CEO, The Brooks Group: The Outstanding Contribution Award
  • Rich Wellins, Senior Vice President, DDI: Lifetime Achievement Award
