The Gaylord Golf Mecca, the Midwest’s summer golf mecca, announces the return of its free golf weekend April 22-24. This celebration of the game allows golfers to tee-it-up for no-charge at one of the leading golf destinations in the country.

The area, which is a rustic woods and lakes paradise, offers an unmatched quality and quantity of resorts and golf courses that rise and fall over ridges and hardwoods offering spectacular views.

Imagine playing complimentary golf at such top places like Treetops Resort, where you can play the only Tom Fazio designed course in Michigan, or the spectacular Robert Trent Jones Masterpiece. Also experience the challenge of Black Lake designed by world-renowned architect Rees Jones, or the parkland classic Gaylord Country Club.

The golf weekend will include a complimentary round of golf with a paid night's lodging at one of the areas participating hotels. Other top courses participating include The Natural, Michaywe, Elk Ridge, and The Classic at Otsego Club.

Golfers can simply call one of the hotels to book a room and mention the “Free Golf Weekend”. The hotel will then make the tee-time and present a golf certificate to golfers upon check-in.  The certificate is then presented to the golf course in order to get the complimentary round of golf.

This is a great opportunity for golfers to get an early season start on their game and experience some quality golf along the way, for free.
